Honda trail cub.

Post by dubber68 »

Well rang a dealer today to enquire about the trail cubs European release date only to find that they are taking deposits. Gave them my cash so I'm now on the list. The rumour is that it is an early 2021 release in Europe. Can't wait to start some micro adventures on it.

The last we heard was that they definitely were not bringing them to the uk. Out of interest what price did they quote?

They aren't sure on price yet but have taken 12 deposits (fully refundable) at this dealer alone and seem very confident they will get them. The last I heard was that we were just after the USA launch. The US only getting the red model.
You'll have to pay us a visit again soon if you're in the area or even if you're not and fancy a break.

Looks a bit like one of those old Aussie postie bikes. Good fun.

Hmmmm interesting as really want one. Spoke to fowl ups and they said wasn’t coming to the UK and the existing cubs were following suit due to emissions. However i dont really believe what they say anymore due to historical cock ups.
Keep this going and hopefully we will get out ha ds on one

I must admit I was surprised when they told me they were taking deposits. The deposits they are taking are £100 fully refundable so I figured it was a good way to show how good the potential market for this bike is to Honda. Nothing talks like money.
I really want one as a slow tourer. This year has made me commit to touring more in the UK rather than internationally. If the Honda falls through we currently own a vanvan and that will be pressed into touring service.
