For anyone considering a bash plate upgrade, I was amazed to find at least sixteen different manufactures on the market when I was searching in June.
Here’s another offering;

Great video. Funny guy. And a good looking bash plate. If I owned a T7 I'd be getting one of those.

They could do worse than copy the old KTM LC4 adventure with 26 litres --in the right place!stramasher wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 12:18 pm The ol' 660 had the version with a 22/23ltr tank did it not? Definite selling point from the usual piddly tanks with enough capacity to get you somewhere then your fecked/ having to "calm down."
So I see their thinking.
What kind of range have folk eke'd out the T7?

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread
Well, I've decided to keep using my 660Z through the winter, it's been through quite a few winters on the commute, so is still nicely covered in ACF50 and spray grease, getting a cold hose down after most rides. The T7 is sorned and tucked-up for the winter.... did I really need it?

Next time there’s a large obstacle blocking the trail, I need the mindset of Pol Tarrés.

Phil, before you came into view I was stuck on that log like a child on a rocking horse!
It actually bent the side stand safety switch housing so I’ve now removed it before it failed and left me stranded.

Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread
I don’t know if this has been shared before, but here it is anyway. I wish I’d seen it last week, I’ve just ordered the Ralky Raid front seat release bits.
Never mind.
Never mind.
Re: The Yamaha Tenere thread
Yes I’m doing mine as it’s a simple & free solution to an otherwise fiddly procedure to remove the main seat.
The only thing I’m cautious about is when the bike has been dropped, I tend to grab whatever I can to lift it (no grab handles on mine) so i need to avoid lifting it by the seat as it will be less secure once the two bolts have been removed.
