I've recently fitted a Scottoiler to the T7.... I've had them on various bikes over many years and've found them excellent, significantly reducing the need for chain adjustment and increasing life.
For anyone thinking of doing likewise, here's my thoughts.
Reservoir location. The location shown on the Scottoiler website (for the T7) is, I feel, impractical, namely on the sub-frame tube above the pillion peg bracket - this places the reservoir filler under the lower edge of the side panel/tail unit, which would make topping-up very fiddly. The panel unit is not easily removable. After quite a bit of thought, I decided upon under the pillion seat, where there's enough space to fix the reservoir to an adequate gradient fall. Removing the pillion seat to check and top-up is no faff.
Dispenser nozzle. I ordered the chain guide as running the delivery tube through it gives a bit of protection to the nozzle in the event of flying stones when doing gravel tracks etc.
Vacuum take-off. There's a spigot on the RH inlet tract, which is ideal. To get to it I unplugged the TPS cable as it makes access far easier. Don't switch on the ignition whilst the cable is unplugged as the engine management warning light will come on and will stay on, even when the cable's plugged back again! (how do I know?.... I briefly switched on to check how much fuel was left for an impending ride). I had to go to my dealer who had to reset the light via the Yamaha laptop software. Why do I hate tech stuff!

That's the coolest video I've watched in ages. Brilliant. Big smile on my face.

Great vid.... that's just what I have no intention of doing on my lovely, shiny T7! But I'd give a go on my scabby old DRZ as it wouldn't matter how many times it would be dropped, which would probably be many.

Yes, Bob, you could have shaved seconds off that if you'd practiced more!

More Pol Tarrés skill in this short film featuring the same rock.

Some weird bits but well worth a watch.

Would love to know what suspension set up he has....
