Wow.... that's properly stuck :) Was the extraction painful?! Next time please make a video of it (and maybe speed it up by x10)!
I did a time lapse expecting it to take a while but it was so easy to get out, I should have filmed it in normal time!

Nice to be out trail riding with a trio of Tenere’s today.

Some interesting mods on the left one.

How nice to see T7's out and about on the trails 👍 What are the mods to the bike on the left (aside from the obvious ones as can be seen in the pic)?
I do like the looks of the Rally edition, so much so that in a bout of impending madness I can see me splashing out on one.... makes no financial sense at all and will leave me with a lovely red/white one to move on - but I'm a sucker for those old time Paris/Dakar paint jobs, and the gold wheels look fantastico, too.

Get a retro vinyl make over. It will be much cheaper!

The bike on the left piloted by Darren had numerous mods including a smart vinyl by Crispy Designs.

Not sure if he’s on this forum to answer your question but Minkyhead might help out.

Every time I looked at his bike, I noticed more small details he’d modified/improved.

He’s a tall, solid chap so he ‘bossed’ the T7 around like he was riding a WR450.

The front suspension had been re-sprung/re-valved by K-Tech which he said was the best investment he’d made. He’d also fitted a 95N/mm rear spring.

He’d removed one of the front brake discs/caliper as he felt a twin set up was too aggressive for off road and fitted a cheapish exhaust end can subsequently shaved off a few kg’s.

He also said a chap he knows is currently working on an ABS bypass which I would welcome.

His bike look looked super lithe next to mine (probably due to the tapered tail tidy/compact number plate and removed indicators) but if I’m going to do more technical trails, I need to follow his lead and ditch my OEM centre stand with its stupid sticky outer foot lever and strap on an ugly stick!

Alisons has a slight shimy on the front end with the standard front tyre, once it's a bit more worn I'll change it.

I would
It’ll make a big difference
Shimmy gone, even with a more aggressive tyre
