I wonder if that's the same engine as in the new 'little' Moto Morinis?

I believe it is since Moto Morini changed hands in October 2018 to Zhongneng Vehicle Group, why re invent the wheel I guess, keeps cost down as well

Netsonic!.... How many miles have you done on the Cfmoto??.... Do you find it has a lot of vibration?
I've always liked those bikes and seems to be excellent value for money πŸ‘

Hi Tink, I've only done just under 4K miles, I don't find it vibrates at all, if fact its very smooth. I also have a WK400 which does vibrate as all singles do, the MT is a parallel twin and very smooth and has a very linier power delivery

The new model apart from the colour options is the same bike but with some nice additions, taller screen, hand guards and engine crash bars, it still comes with the shad paniers fitted in the price  ...…………..it also has one other change made from rider feedback which was the foot peg position has been lowered I think about 10mm or so to help taller riders, but not an issue for me

The Chinese bikes of a few years ago had OK engines but the cycle parts were of horrible quality. In China, motorcycles have a short life: I think it's compulsory to scrap them before they are 10-years-old, so there is no point in making anything durable for the home market.
Obviously, the export market has made them get their act together, especially when Japanese and European manufacturers are having contract assembly work done.
