In Asia they currently produce a off road version of a C90 in the Guise of a XRM125, you buy them brand new for about 900 quid..

Most, but not all, modern GS riders seem to be complete tw!"ts too far up their own etc--I see it in my local BMW dealers all the time (we have a proper 1981 R80 G/S that has done the Exeter trial). What we must not forget is that 90 % of bike sales are to countries where its a working man's transport and little bikes do everything and get everywhere---that Honda does really look just the ticket for anywhere with dodgy dirt roads--and thats why Honda etc make them--to sell in their many thousands.

That must have been an adventure...and enough to put any sane person off socialism for life.

But there's nowt as queer as folk, as they used to say in Yorkshire.

You know, I've often wondered what motorcycle Corbyn & Abbott did their trip on back in 1970's. If ever I was to meet either that's the only question I would have had. If it was a CZ, I wonder which model...the175 trail bike would've been cool but somewhat uncomfy after a while I suspect. Corbyn & Abbott ....that's proper adventure riding!

That's interesting, I don't recall CZ selling a 350 in UK. Maybe it was bored-out version of the barrels used in the 250? I do, however, well remember that Jawa had a 350 twin sold under the Jawa/CZ banner at the time. I believe that that Jawa still currently make a 2-stroke 350 twin, which can be bought in UK.
Never owned a CZ, but did have an MZ250 once.

Before adventure bikes were a 'thing' (in the BEC era...Before Ewen and Charlie) I went to Morocco and it was quite amusing to see little kids charging across the desert on ancient and primitive French mopeds. They had no idea that their bikes were crap and had never even seen the Touratech catalogue.
