Must remember not to try tight filtering with them on 😂

Just a cheap ebay spotlight wired into a little rocker switch. Good for when night riding 👍

We went for our first visit to Limoges in months today. Nice to see the coffee bars busy - but everyone outdoors and fairly well distanced. Masks being worn even in the street. A couple of Police Nationale flics rolled up on these 3-wheel scoot things.

OK, so they're not exactly the California Highway Patrol. But 'FRITES' perhaps?

Dunno. They have Peugeot badges on them. I was so tempted to entitle this post 'Go Pig and Ride Small' - but I wouldn't do a thing like that.

It looks like they are called the Peugeot Metropolis.

400cc, 4-stroke single. 35 bhp.

All sounds reasonable for a scooter, but then you read that it weighs 256 kgs. Yep, not a typo. Somehow they've managed to make it weigh a quarter of a tonne! WTF! Has it got lead-lined tyres or something?

So I don't suppose the getaway scrotes of Limoges have all that much to worry about.... I'd love a go though. Can it be crashed on a wet diesely roundabout? It'd be fun to try.
