Re: Go Big and Ride Small
ahh .. thanks for that Chris ... never been on that trail, but seen the start at the north end many times.
this pic is a decade old .. taken from opposite your golf lane, the other side of the road that is.

it was my first outing on my TTR600 and it was far too tall for me and had poor tyres on. I was offered to do your golf trail but was told it was steep at the north beginning .. so I politely decline lol.
Will do it one day tho lol.
here is one on Claerwen ..

I am too big to ride small so my Honda XL250 Degree is up for sale see
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=52454
I am sticking with my 'naked' Transalp.
Now SOLD
Replaced it with a BSA M21, not quite the same, though it is small in engine power, 15hp from 600cc .

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Had to do a 230 mile round trip down to see my mum, so took the PCX125.
I keep thinking about swapping it for something else but with a tank range of 200 miles + from a 9 litre tank, 20 litres of underseat storage and a variety of foot positions and therefore comfortable seating makes for a very enjoyable ride. Maybe later in the year I’ll ride down to Southern Spain, and I know which bike I’d like to take.
No pics of the bike so just one of me down near Paignton

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Not the biggest misstake.
But sad.
Ever since I read the books of Simon Gandolfi, I have been considering the cargo model as an ideal travel bike.
If you ride solo, Why have a seat for two.
And a top case high up and far back. (look at modern #aventure bikes")
When you can put the load instead of a pillion.
Same as for the CT model. A large rack just behind the rider
I would try one of these. If they were availible here.
Now that they have even a 160 cc model

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I came across this YouTube channel via a post on Facebook, so it would appear it does have its uses.
I think she is going to have quite an adventure.
