Is Transylvania ready for your blood-curdling dance moves, Chris?
I’ll have to take fake teeth and a cape in my luggage 😂😂

Isn't it this Count you're referring to?

Wonder what Bram Stoker would have made of Count Duckula and Sesame Street?

Anyway, back on track. Apart from a quick conference trip to Bucharest a long time ago, I've never been to Romania. Always fancied it. I'm sure it'll be a fascinating journey Chris. There are still some parts of Europe that feel quite pre-industrial and some of rural Romania is like that I believe. You could have some scooter vs donkey & cart drag races.

Once you get off the metalled roads it is horse and cart--rough and rocky tracks--went through an off grid Romany village in the hills--got chased by a pig trying to bite my boots--no maps for the GPS to work with--maybe different now. Racing in the closed off main street and drag races on the salt flats. The police are "funded" so its who you know--but great people. There is definitely an underworld--but not dracula based!

If you really want off grid then the centre of Albania is worth a visit--adventure bikes only--plenty of rocky roads!

Great options but I’m happy with a little bit of grid 😂
I’m thinking of taking a pcx125 and though it’ll be good for the roads, it won’t match up to the C90 or Innova for the gravel stuff
