No fear that they would empty the garbage bins and include your bike ?
Yeh, that was my only worry that the bin collectors came and grabbed the bike as well. 😮 though if they had I would have ridden a bin home, probably would have been quicker 😂😂😂

Weather has been getting warmer and warmer, I’ve just arrived at Bardenas and it’s up to 29!

Bardenas didn’t disappoint. Miles and miles of dusty tracks, plenty of opportunities to ride off piste and great photo opportunities. Really had a great day!

Nice! I looked at those a little while back, I couldn’t work out what the real world tank range would be for a larger bike than the pcx, what do you manage to get out of it?

About 73 mpg at the moment, but that's running it in and seems to be on hilly and 60mph roads a lot, so would expect a little more on flatter / slower roads. So about 200 miles, till it runs dry, just DAMHIK  as I can get 12.5 litres in when it's empty.

Got a Givi Maxxia top box so will have about 100 litres of storage when I'm away for any length of time.

Just worked out that by the end of this trip I’ll have done over 10,000 miles on the continent in under 3 years…. All on 125ccs 😂

Cheers, yeh, I’ve just been using campsites except for this last section as arrived in the Picos and weather is looking to be a mixed bag so staying in accommodation with my bike just parked outside.

I don't know if this is of any help but if the weather in the Picos turns really nasty and you've got to hole up for a few days then there is a decent 2 star hotel in Guardo about 50 miles south and out of the touristy bit of the Picos, so the prices are really good and it's got secure parking. Hotel Montana Palentina.
