Re: Go Big and Ride Small
That’s definitely a middle sized bike! I’d class 250cc and under as a small bike.
(Though it does look great fun!)

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
A stunning day heading the 130 miles to look after my mum. Took the non-motorway route to take advantage of sunshine on Sidmouth front.
Staying over a couple of days and then probably head back via Dartmoor and Porlock.
Anyone else out on essential journeys?

I walked that whole coast path once. Is that Beer Head / Branscombe in the distance? Might be.Godspeed wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 9:36 pm A stunning day heading the 130 miles to look after my mum. Took the non-motorway route to take advantage of sunshine on Sidmouth front.

People think the hardest walks in the UK must be the mountain stuff, but that SW Coast Path is absolutely knackering. Once you leave the beach towns it's up then down then up for miles on end as you go along the cliff tops. It would be awesome on an enduro bike if you were allowed.

And totally agree with you, they are knackering! If only we could ride bikes on them

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
I took the scenic route coming home from looking after my mum. 167 miles, across Dartmoor and then the North Devon coast. Totally picturesque out there in the sunshine
The SH125 is a great little ride. The low fuel light (1.6litres left, from a 7 litre tank) came on at 177 miles so it should give a range of around 200 miles. The power is a little down from the Forza 125, whisking me up to 60mph gps, but I’m still running in so a little more would be nice.

My mate (who I now wonder if he is a stalker) ‘happened’ to be filming out his work window as I rode past today on my way to Tesco.
