All his reviews are good...I'd get a Himalaya if they were 60 kg lighter.
But as they stand...the power of a 250, and the weight of a 950?
Can't bring myself to do it...I could just cut a plug lead on the KTM to replicate the experience!

Re bicycle punctures, I went to some Schwalbe tyres with their puncture guard and have not looked back since...only one puncture in 2 years.

Many years ago I found some Halfords tubes with a kevlar belt and had similar good experiences. Not one puncture.
But they must have hit the sales of inner tubes and tyre patches hard...when I wore them out and went back for more there were none on sale!

But then you’d have a more expensive bike with brakes that are too good for the engine, and suspension that doesn’t match its power… I could equally say that I’ll put a 250cc engine in my Innova to match the power of the Himalayan but then it wouldn’t be an Innova.
Maybe it just works well as it is? (Though a 250 in my Innova is something to think about 😂)

If I traded my 950 against a new Himmi, I'd be lucky if I got a straight swap.

It's possible to get rid of one of the discs on the front of the 950 to even-up the braking!

Took a ride up to Stratford on Tuesday with a couple of nights stay at the YHA there. At the moment they have 20% off some of the rooms at various places which makes a nights accommodation about £24!

Anyway just a couple of hours ride but boy are those roads really slippy and muddy.

Anyway a couple of nights away and a nice ride at 144mpg 😉

I've been adding a honda 125 grom to the stable, must admit, I'm really enjoying the return to a small capacity bike don't think it'll replace a big bike yet, but maybe in time.
It's getting me out on the roads during winter months, which I haven't done for a few years, normally stick to the trails in the winter 👍

That looks a lot of fun! Can you get a bash plate for it?

That's a nice little bike. What model is it?
