Indeed we did, only stayed for the bikes and outfits before the weather turned.tempesc wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 7:57 pmDid you make it in the end? It was a good trial - cold and wet, but not as cold and wet as expectedSnaf MKII wrote:I see that the Innova has made it's way in to the trials fraternity to complement the usual C90/50 brigade.
We'll be at Simms hill in the morning if anyone's passing.
Also great photos from Wales - its a beautiful area and looks like you caught the weather right too!

Nice! The C90s seem to do quite well, nice and easy to paddle up when the going gets tough.
Do that frequently

It’s quite sad really, I noticed I was getting emotional about simple things and crying easily, then I started having flashbacks and mild panic attacks. Anyway I went to my GP who has signed me off for a bit. I guess 26 years of jumping up and down on people’s chests and unfortunately losing many of them certainly takes its toll. May have to find another job where I don’t think every ambulance siren is something I need to deal with and that red isn’t my go to colour
Decided to do a few things that feel good for me so I headed off on an overnight stay up to Barmouth.
It’s just a cheeky 150 miles each way but the weather was damp and roads skiddy so I was pretty glad I was on the Innova. At 100kgs it’s light enough to handle on most surfaces.
133mpg at full ups, and ran like clockwork.

Sorry to hear that...I'm amazed you people keep going the way you do.
that last bit 'Riding = Best mental therapy for me' is spot on.
Work head off, helmet on, and GO!

Love the front end and the stealthy black, but what an awful mess of that middle part, cables going everywhere and an air filter ready to get wet in the rain. Crazy!Billy Bananahead wrote: ↑Fri Jan 14, 2022 8:06 pm Just got this from Bikeexif.

Spend 50 s to watch this video.
From 4:50 to 5:40
(If the link is correct, it will start at 4:50)
How the locals are just cruising around easily on their 125 cc bikes.
Where an adventure traveler on the small Honda CRF 300 Rally top spec bike has a hard time.

Good find.
Yeh it’s amazing the comments on her channel are things like ‘wow, what a hard day riding through that mud’ and all the locals are like ‘yep we do it everyday on our 125s’
