Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Took the Innova out for a spin today. It’s just got regular road tyres on so I wanted to see how well it would do ‘off-road’. I did a 20 mile motorway blast, some lovely small roads and then most of the Fosseway.
The tyres struggled on the muddy stuff but the bikes lightweight kept it going.
Looking forward to testing it out further

Re: Go Big and Ride Small
Ive gone from a Tiger 1050 to a RE Himalayan. Not missing the lost 100bhp odd at all. Ive found more places on my doorstep riding at 40mph than whizzing passed at 80mph. Ive adventured down tracks that i would never have on the Tiger. The Himalayan attracts people over to find out what it is and what's it like, ive even had KTM owners coming over for a chat. Then again some look at me as ive just passed my test even though i passed my test 40 odd years ago. They just dismiss me as am not riding a large fully loaded 20 thousand pound bike. After years of owning multi cylinder bikes up to 1300cc am enjoying biking more now. I was getting bored of biking then but since i bought the 410cc it has brought the enjoyment back. I still own the Tiger but it's just standing in the garage gathering dust. Another plus point is if it falls over i can pick it up without help and not get a hernia at the same time. Even though the bike has only got 24.5bhp( don't forget the .5cc) i wouldn't think twice about taking on a long journey. A biker is a biker even if you ride a 50cc to 2300cc bike. Were all doing what we enjoy. End off.
