Had a good look and a quick spin on Scut's 500 at the ATFF yesterday.
Very near conversion - great attention to detail and a staggering 25% weight saving.
When can we buy the kits? ;-)

I finally got to the bottom of the electrical issues and made a few small changes, time for a test ride

what have you done to save the weight scutty
exhaust looks light and very nice ..tank maby ... 25 percent is huge ...what else is there to consider ??

Chris's 25% comment comes from the weight saving vs the CB500X - one of my original goals for this bike was to stay under 150kgs.

I hope you have succeeded. A sub 150kg 500cc offroader is a very attractive proposition. :D

Here are a couple of photos from today. I have fitted a standard white CRF front fender which I think looks better and, more importantly, should give a bit more protection.

What fairing and lights are those mate? Look pretty ideal for my Dr once I get moving in the stuff I want to do to that.

The fairing is the Rallye Lite from highway Dirtbikes and it holds Baja Designs Squadron light (super bright!!)
