Hi

I have a WK 400 with a fuel indicator issue. It isn't displaying the fuel level and always flashes. It's always been like this so it may be someone messed with the bike previously. There is a cable that looks unplugged but I can't see where it might attach to. Can anyone take a photo of their wiring so i can compare to mine.

Cheers

I think that's an ECU interrogation lead, have you taken the tank off recently?

Nope, but the previous owner might have. Could this cable effect the fuel meter?

I doubt it, though will check its the same on mine, I would start by checking the fuel sender plug is actually connected, it's a bit fiddly as the fuel tank has to come off for valve clearance checks, the WK is closer to a dirtbike than a road bike.

So I have to take the tank off to check the fuel sender plug? Where does the wire go to? could it be detached at the other end?

In the top left hand corner of the photo is a two pin plug with a yellow and green wire, that is where the fuel sender joins the bikes main wiring loom.

If you follow the wire from the bottom left hand side of the tank (if you're stood looking at the front of the bike, throttle grip side) you may be able to see looking up from the head of the engine between the inside of the tank and the frame

Thanks for you help. The photo isn't showing up for me though. Did you post it right?
