It may be a lack of vacuum to the fuel valve is cutting its supply off so maybe a leak in the vac line or the fuel tap/filter is partially blocked and starves on tickover.

Hi all,

Haven't been back here in a while, mostly due to not riding! But Wendy K is stil going strong and am out and about again now. Good to see the thread is still running.

I keep her outside unfortunately and the piston in the rear brake caliper was stuck so I dismantled it and gave it a good clean and all is good again now, bled the brakes front and back too.

I've also finally got round to fitting new chain and sprockets:

The rear sprocket is Steve's recommendation, got the front sprocket (with a couple of spares) from the Wallace and Romet site in Poland.

I've lost the rear brake lever spring somewhere so have ordered a couple of spares from Quadzilla but didn't even get an email confirmation of the order so will have to chase - I bet they haven't actually got them!

Also the centre stand has begun reularly falling down since one of the springs has had it, I'm looking around for spares but think I'll just have to measure them and get a few till I find one that works. In the mean time it's held up with a cable tie :)

Haven't been back up to Sweet Lamb yet but have been bimbling up and down the Fosse way a bit, hoping to get out with Glos TRF again soon.

5,800 miles so far. Still loving the bike.

Today these quite cheap DB Killers were in the Mail. Did anyone install such yet? Propably the whole exhaust system has to come off to reach al rivets that need to be drilled out ??!

Could someone with a centre stand put up a pic of where the springs attach.
Cheers

Is it just one spring?
I've only got one on mine but when I take it off the stand I need to give it a kick for it to go up.
