The top one was just held in the end of the can with a bolt, the lower one my mate had lying around his garage from a previous bike.

Got them welded together, inserted and bolted in the end can but to be honest I'm not sure if it is that much quieter?

Definitely not as bassy as with the baffle out.
I had a similar problem getting my CRF through the MOT as the exhaust was loud even with a perferated baffle in.

I ended up getting a thin sheet of exhaust packing, cut it down wrapping the baffle with a single layer and held it in place with bar grip binding wire, that made the exhaust a lot quieter

Hello Steve I made some blanking plates and bought a sheet of gasket material though I'll still take them off you if mine turn out to be useless if you're alright with that?

Very nice, need to get round to doing that on mine, along with the rear footrests and hangers.

Mint! Thanks for the plates Steve, I'm on nights so only just looked through my post so apologies if they have been with me for a few days.

No problem Ned, I have 3 spare if you ever need another. Ordered a few extra as they were so cheap and did not cost any extra on the postage fee

How has your bike been running?

Removed both the sender and fuel pump thinking something had broken to find what rattling around!
