New Bike...

Post by Loggy »

Okay here she is, my new bike. A 2013 XT1200Z Super Tenere in White.

Picked her up from Tamworth Yamaha yesterday. Done 13,000mls and in excellent condition. She was given a service, 1st MOT, fork seals replaced (one was weeping) new front mudguard (old one had a hairline crack where previous owner fitted a fender extender) and a new set of tyres. She looked fantastic when I picked her up and everyone at Tamworth Yamaha did a great job.

There is lots of farkles to add. My mates secured a good deal on "as new" SW Motech crash bars and bashplate, so they will be the first additions to the bike. Lots more to get for it as and when I've got the dosh.

Excellent B)

That looks like it's been taken care of :)

I like the painted front mudguard....looks better than mine ( standard one has the same finish as the side panels )

Enjoy. (thumbs)

Thanks Bryn. I've just registered on the Super 10 forum, awaiting registration. Will probably see you there?

Yeah the spokes are like new, so I'm HOPING it's been taken care of? It had a white mudguard on when I first looked at it, but the previous owner had tightened the screw too much that secures the fender extender to it. So the dealer put a brand new one on for me.

If I was looking for a bike that's probably what I'd come home on.

Enjoy the bike mate.
