Missed this a couple of weeks ago Jim.
Bike looks great, and a lot better with the new can on it. And I think it suits the panniers as well.

He has his moments I believe..... Biggest issue is keeping the front wheel down! :whistle:johnnyboxer wrote:Does Jim go fast?peterpan241 wrote:

We buy things we don't need
With money we don't have
To impress people we don't even like

Re: New Honda Africa Twin 1st ride
I eat far too many pies! Had a nice macaroni pie up in Wick this week,,,, and a Scotch one!
I do like to feel the front of the bike rise occasionally! I've even managed to coax a reasonable wheelie out of my Bonneville!
Any way, weather's been poor, been working away from home and also doing on call cover so not had much bike time lately, but the weather is gorgeous today so might venture out on one of the bikes later.
I believe some will remember that I had scuff marks on my panniers on the Varadero, they were too low and took the ground on hairpins! My Alpos boxes are nice and high, no ground clearance issues there!
All my farkling has been done, exhaust, luggage, phone mount, Gopro mount, power supplies, all fitted, the bike is now ready for the first spring trips, bring on the good weather!
Thanks for all the positive comments, I'll continue to update with ride reports as soon as possible.
