Great little bike, and as others have said small engines help you enjoy the scenery :)
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

This one did more miles in Europe than at home. Mainly 2up
Never a problem.

Nicely timed thread this. The man himself left this for my 14 year old son so I can show him it's the perfect bike. Well impressed !
Now if it would only stop raining !

What hand guards have you got there?

I've got a very disgruntled teenage son that I bought some Renthal guards advertised specifically for an XR125L but they're actually universal and the clamp doesn't work with the brake reservoir.

Those look ideal.

Unfortunately they're actually renthal bars that I put on for the very fact that I could get handguards on..... Worth doing though, Stewie advised me on that one.. :)

That's interesting, If you can remember exactly which bars and hand guards you fitted could you let me know? Thanks.

I had the similar XLR125 a couple of years back - was a very manageable little bike and went anywhere anything else would/can.

A 125 4st does lack power when you get to a big hill or battling against a strong headwind, so not ideal in my mind.

A 250 is *just* enough to reliably keep up with other traffic, but better with a little bit more again I think...
