Re: New Bike!
I saw this in the flesh today whilst we had a nice bimble around The Ribble Valley and it's a bloody tall bike. Looks great though.
Steve lent me his F800GS, a bit tall for me but at least I kept it up (oh err. missuses...) and didn't drop it. Despite the 90 degree uphill adverse camber turn onto Whalley Old Road!! :woohoo:

New Bike!
That is' a beautiful looking bike.
Was it hard to get insurance for such a heavily modified bike?
How much are Michelin paying you in sponsorship for a bike with Maxxis tyres?

Re: New Bike!
Ah, well spotted regarding the tyres! Mike was showing me some pictures of graphics on bikes he'd previously built, I just said "That's nice, I'll have mine done the same as that one"
Regarding the Rekluse and the left bar rear brake. I am 100% convinced about the brake, you have so much more control with your hand than with your foot, especially with Enduro boots on.
The Rekluse is an interesting one, I need to play around a bit with the settings, but I don't think you can ever get quite the same amount of fine control at very low speeds as you can get with a normal clutch. Throttle pick-up in tight manoeuvres is critical and its effect can't be countered by feathering the clutch.
Edit....insurance, err.....I guess I better tell them!
But I don't think it would matter too much, the proformance hasn't changed but I suppose the value has increased.
