Put both machines on the Optimate battery chargers for their winter hibernation period.

winter service started. tyres will be delivered monday, and changed next saturday. need to order wheel bearings and brake fluid. for cooling i want to use Motul Inugel Expert. I used that last 13 years, on my suzuki rf900 and honda cbf1000. no issues. also general cleaning and inspection.

done sod all again to my 2 bikes.
the crf 250 rally will need looking at .. to see what the awful engine noise is .. afraid to even start it.
the nc 750 is tucked away awaiting the disappearance of ice .. but needs a bloody good service, and fitting all the extras i got a few years ago lol.

the good news is that they have both been insured.

Surprise surprise, Bikesure renewed without me looking at the quote, but it was only £10 more than last year at £137 .. v good.
Breakdown is separate though.

The crf was quoted an extra £100 by MCE (why do they spoil themselves?), so was glad to get rid of them as they didnt even send me a certificate last year, and of course all that fiasco with liquidations etc. It only had 0 years ncb, so 1 year this year, but it has its own ncb history now, but still double the £111 it would have had if 9+ years ncb (they are popular with thieves.)
.. so for £213 its fully comp and full breakdown insurance .. happy with that.
(but why does it take all morning to contact these people?)
