Put my RD04 back together, rode it round the block and decided to sell it.

Adjusted my clutch.
It has only taken me 3 months to get around to it - I turned back on the way to the December rally because the clutch was slipping so badly.

Yesterday I took my Tenere out for a pretty fast ride on some twisty back roads in the area to see if I need to tweek the suspension and find out how the gearing changes have worked out and I'm happy to say that according to the satnav it hits the red line at bang on 100mph in top (that bit was on a private road) and it feels really planted even on crap surfaces where you'd expect it to be kicking around.
Today three of us blew a tank of fuel each just acting the idiot on some of my favourite country roads and that confirmed to me that for what I want to do the Multi is the dogs danglies but fuel consumption goes to hell when you nail it a bit. I'd not ridden it for six months and the clock is still set on BST but now it's taxed and in an easier place to get out it'll be seeing quite a bit more use which is never a bad thing.
The second best part of the weekend was being able to ride around in jeans and a leather jacket without feeling even slightly cold which made a pleasant change after having to wear heated kit until fairly recently but the best bit was buying an early birthday present for myself yesterday morning and next weekend I pick up a bike I've always wanted but until now I've never owned....

I've been storing my mates fairings for a few months, just trying to kick start him into picking them up! After I peeled the gaffer tape off they went back in bubble wrap and I rode my 90 to the pub (thumbs)stevewatkin wrote:

No better pictures, the sun was in the wrong direction and I'd only fitted fairing to one side
