Sadly you're screwed, Tony. Did you buy it from someone called Phillips ?

Had a little crash hitting a young lad crossing the road in amongst the traffic so glad we are both OK as was going really slow at the time ,sitting with a drink and an ice pack on my foot which I carefully placed under the clutch cover to protect it from damage 😀

The other day there was a puddle of petrol under the bike so after watching a YouTube video I dismantled and inspected the carb. Got it back together and it's not leaking any more. It's my first time inside a carb so I'm pretty pleased.

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

In the interests of honesty I must now declare that my fix didn't stop the leak, it had just run out of petrol.

I just returned to Portugal. To spend the winter with my Brazilian girl : My Honda NX 4

After three months: First the standard. Charging, Air Pressure, Chain Lubrication....

Then to the risers that I had with me.
I bought a set with pieces that you can combine to get from 21 mm to 38 mm higher handle bar.
They also came with three sets of bolts. With different length.

I could fit them all => 38 mm. The wires and cables are still OK.
Cheap and easy fix.

Maybe time to fix the paint ?
But will it work any better ?

Tomorrow we will go and search for classic cars.

Greetings,

Yesterday, after now completing the frame replacement I took the Norton for its MOT.

I added a central stand to my old NX 4.
And have ordered parts for a front end refreshment.
Brakes, fork seals...

For this type of bike, you have to get your hands dirty.
Not only look at the odometer, and hand it over for service.
When it is time.
