Had some new tyres fitted to the Bonneville so went for a bit of a ride today.
Very dry and dusty so was quite an easy ride. Need to raise the front mudguard a bit before next time other than that it rides well on the semi ruff stuff

Nice detail of popping on an old registration mark with the old style plate, I've done the same on one of my bikes, confuses the hell out of people while having a good look

That's gorgeous, if it ever needs a new home let me know.

Re: Not your normal off roader
Thanks for your comments still got a couple of things to do. I would like to change the handle bars to some a bit straighter / wider and might have to raise the front mudguard a little but other than that I am please with the result.
Re: Not your normal off roader
What exhaust have you got on it?
I have had a Scrambler since 2007 and found it very enjoyable for soft roading. The finish is Harley more than Honda quality so I dont use it much over the winter.
However the ECU just packed up apparently more common on the 270 crank motors than the 360 motors. Appears to be fixed with a Procom unit, far cheaper than the Triumph unit but tax has now run out

Lovely looking bike but if you ride it on the road you might find yourself in bother with the Traffic police as vehicles made after 1st January 1973 MUST display a yellow plate. The old style plate you have displayed are only legal on vehicles made before this date
