Re: first motorcycle you ever rode
My dad, rather confusingly, bought himself a CZ250 MX bike which he rode to work on every day, even during those long snowy winters we seemed to have when l was a kid. He used to come in with his arms frozen into position. My first ride on it was up and down the lane we lived along and across the fields.
Don't remember the girl though.

I first got the bug when I was 14. I was given an old Honda C50 which I use on some waste ground at the back of the house. It was like this one.
Then my dad got me a basket case Triumph Tiger Cub which at 15 I restored back on the road for when I was 17 and able to ride it. Like this one.
So from this
to this
Sorry these are not my pictures.

Re: first motorcycle you ever rode
Hi, my first ever ride was on a Jabser, a what !
A James with a Bantam engine. It was a field bike that belonged to mate.
I was about thirteen and the next thing I rode was a Lambretta a few days later.
I got in a rut and stacked it, only thing was, I had come off and ended up covered in stinking dog shit.
I've been hooked ever since, on the bikes that is.

circa June 1975 C50 field bike straight into a bush ... picked it up worked out what I did wrong then rode it round the field and fell off again... worked out what I did wrong and managed to ride around again with a controlled stop this time... loved it and haven't stopped riding since

Re: first motorcycle you ever rode
First bike I ever rode was a Honda C50 but the first bike I ever owned was a Kawasaki KC100.No lessons or part 1 malarky.Just bought the bike and rode it home.Eventually took my test on a Yamaha DT175 where the examiner was on foot.I had to ride around a fixed course until he walked out for the emergency stop.So when he didn't see me on most of the test I could have been dire - but passed first time, many moons ago !
