I've owned an ST1100, but only ever had two goes on a tiger, I've ridden a Vara for the last year, similar to the tiger in stance and style.

My money is on the change of bike, I bet there's nowt wrong with it, just different trigonometry.

Anyway, I hope I'm right for your sake.

Most of time it`s differant tyres or new ones or in your case new bike :-)
I had a ZX9R a few years ago with exactly the same symptoms. When tipping into a corner the bike just wanted to drop on it's side. Putting a new set of tyres on made no difference. When I did the head bearings the problem vanished.

Can't remember if the pan has adjustable front suspension or not, but adding a few clicks of rebound might solve it.

Check...

Tyre pressures
Tyres are of the same type and not squared off or reversed etc.
Wheel bearings for play
Head Bearings for play
Suspension settings aren't at crazy settings

It 'might' be all in your mind though. You've bought yourself an ocean liner. I once took an older Pan European in a PX and on the test ride I thought it was always going to fall over..

Hasn't this always been something that riders new to Pans find un-nerving?

The small diameter fat front tyre creates the sensation of trying to tuck under - it was much worse on the original VF1000 with a 16 inch front wheel.

still worth checking everything. If it's the head bearings it may just be adjustment.

They all do that sir!!! I suspect its just a different bike syndrome, especially a Tiger to an ST1100. My mate has one and says the front end is as vague as hell.

I used to instruct on an early Pan, mega miles on it, never serviced  and I loved the way it handled.

Cheers for the replies :)

Bearings and tyres all seem good so I think it might be all about getting use to the bike.

Best I go out and get some mileage done :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
