Mitas are well used, as a brand, but personally, I can recommend michelin Pilot Road (pr) tyres, as far as grip and road manners are concerned. They have transformed my heavy NC 750 to a great road ride experience. There are more important issues than longevity and cost. Also, the 'older' say pr4 can be got for £134 as opposed to the silly high prices on the pr6, the latest model.

Glad you are getting on well with them, but probably not the most suitable for my use given the state of the roads around my place (minor roads in Wales are generally clean and well maintained compared to rund ere, where they just come round and paint blue lines around the potholes in January, then fill them in in March).
Last January, they did the blue lines the morning after it snowed, and painted the snow...and no I'm not making it up!

I'll be interested to see how the dual compound Mitas works on the gravel centre strip of Devon/Kernow roads, it will be a shame to see the 950 on more road biased tyres though.

They look a nice tyre...but £70 more for the pair than the Mitas?

Anyone tried either?

I’m a K60 fan because I want high mileage and find them good enough for most surfaces.
See how much Dunlop Trailmax Mission are - good all round tyres that last for ages.
Bought mine in the US so don’t know the price here.
