Okay I'm late to the party as usual.... Does anyone on here use the ordance survey premium service for android phones?
I've used os mapping on a Montana but gone all rugged phone now... The free osm are okay but don't differentiate between byways and footpath etc..
2.99 a month is a small price to pay if it works... I can plan tracks on basecamp and export the gpx to my android device..... I do hope it appears on os mappings..
Garmin are totally useless when asking for advice via email lol..

I use the OS maps on Android phones for walking routes, it works really well and is a bargain in my opinion. Works on my Fire tablet, Windows 10 computer and Android phone.

OS maps is £23.99 a year and they offer 10% off if you sign up to their newsletter. Cheaper than a monthly subscription. You can save offline maps too, for areas where you have no coverage.

Eeerrr I use mine on android just fine. You must have a very old version. I have 2017 1:50k and that works and I just bought 2021 1:25k which is even better for footpaths (I map running routes).

Re: Ordance survey maps on android devices?
I too have signed up for an OS map subscription and find it really quite good. The only small gripe i have is that i cant get the map settings to follow a 'track up' style as i like the arrow pointing the way i am travelling so i just have to manually spin the screen round to my direction of travel when needed! If anyone knows how to set this up i would be very grateful if you would share it....
