That could be the way forward. More electronic shit in the house....

But it could be the way forward. I’ll have a look in the internet.....I can do that. 8-)

I could put TET tracks on an SD card and send them to you, but dont think that is the answer really. If I lived nearer I would come and show you in person. I know it a hassle to learn, but I honestly think it is worth it, how much have you spent on maps in the past, I have spend hundreds, for the UK it is worth some outlay for Ordanace Survey (type) maps, for Europe you need not spend any money. EX map man completley converted to electronic maps, 80% of the time, I use the GPS as purely a rolling map, You have learnt harder things in the past I am sure. keep the questions coming .

I know, I know. Patience and perseverance.

Learning to speak and walk we’re probably harder....mind you, I’ve had my monies worth out of the talking bit......so I’m told.

Ironically the cheap and apparently inferior Nokia 3 phone has downloaded the GPX files.
We now need a little do-hickey to attach the phone to the SD card.
About £8 on Amazon. We will get one and try that. I’m sure that we can do it......I still like a paper map though.

I do understand that downloading routes is the only way for things like the TET.

I’d prefer a paper roll road book, but imagine the size.

Thanks for all the help and encouragement.

Thread update.

Lost interest in the Montana and sold it. (We still have another one so....)
Bought TomTom Rider 550 (Bargain price from Sportsbikeshop)
Discovered that the micro SD card we’d been trying to use was faulty......snap said card and put in bin.
Buy new SD card.
Download GPX file to cheap nasty note book thing.
Transfer to SD card.
Poke SD card in to TomTom.....get tweezers to remove.....in the wrong way/fat and chewed fingers.
Insert SD card correctly.

BINGO!!!!

My routes....import routes....see route on screen!!

Wahoo! The TET here we come!!

Now, about that vaccine........
