Hi all,
I downloaded the TET Southern route and did a bit of it today, using the GPX route loaded onto my OS Maps App.
It annoyingly won't self centre, so I was frequently needing to stop and move the map by touching the screen on my phone. I have to think it is supposed to self centre, so I wonder if its a parameter I've missed.
Then the other thing was my screen would switch off, which i think is an Apple parameter that I'll need to check (I see that the Apple Maps app doesn't do it.
Finally I'm thinking I should just get a garmin...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance. If in any chance Slowboy reads this, the CRF got a solid work out today!
OS Maps App - How to get the map to self centre?
Re: OS Maps App - How to get the map to self centre?
On my (Android) phone I had to download a separate app to keep the screen on!!
Not sure if there's a setting that I can change now (there have been a couple of updates since then), but it was an annoyance that I couldn't just click a "keep screen on" option in the App.
