GS1200 Riser question?

Post by SteveR »

Could anyone here with a GS tell me what is the spacing berween the two mounting bolts on each of the (28mm) handlebar clamps?

Probs 40-50mm, but hoping 50mm!!

Want to fit a riser/pullback on the SWM, but as they are 50mm spacing, the cheap and cheerful eBay items dont fit! I have looked at the fully variable Rox riser type, but they look a bit fragile for a semi off roader that WILL go down.....

I've had a pair of RoxRizer copies on my CCM for well over 3 years and about 15,000 miles of mixed on/off road riding. No issues, very secure.
Just along for the ride.

That's reassuring to hear Paul. I am grabbing a pair of 2nd hand SW Motech units I think. Should do the job for me then... ;)
