Thanks for the replies,

I had another look and it seems I have enough space to drill a lockwire hole if I use the standard Honda Nuts as it seems whilst the M7 Brass are classed as "ready to ship" I have been estimated "weeks" for delivery which simply will not do in my first world haste.

Indeed they are M7 x 1.0mm thread, and seems these nuts are used on many many wonderful Honda models, part %

NUT, FLANGE, 7MM
90304MM5000


Just need to find my lockwire and pliars now..

If you need parts made have a look at machining 4u do a drawing and see who bids for your work.
I have used it in the past and gave 5 out of 5 for the service.
