Starting to look all ok now, i made the rear lights out of a section of stainless exhaust pipe and some bicycle reflectors. The seal that the reflector sits in is some front fork seals of a XT660R, its a perfect fit and the slot is for the number plate light

Well I think that mini Rover project is amazing. Really looking forward to seeing it all finished, and your videos of it crossing the Darian Gap...

Thanks dave.
Im getting close to nearly done bar the wings and bonnet. Then it will be stripped apart again to make good anything not quite right and then painted.

I have no idea how im gonna do the front wings as the corner part is too hard for me and gonna need some help. Anyone you know with an english wheel in the Bristol area??

That is looking excellent, respect, I wouldn't have the patience to see it through, I'd of turned it into a beach buggy or something similar.

What a fantastic project. I restored and fitted a Rover V8 to my landrover, fitted a roll cage and cut the bodywork down on my old Landrover. I had a limited slip diff,Fairey overdrive, range rover wheels etc. It was a real money pit and nowhere near as good or as clever as your creation. Well done.

Yeh doing land rover conversions was great fun and as you say a complete money pit, i put in a perkins 4203 fork lift engine in a 110hi cap, it was awful:)))

I just wanna go out off roading!

Wow , that is an amazing build .
To fettle an ordinary land rover is one thing but to build from scratch and sourcing all the bits that's on another level .
Be a shame to get that dirty going of road .
Hope you get your wings sorted .
Looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle .
