Covid constructing

Post by chunky butt »

Well with all this lockdown and self insulating going on(been doing that for years). So after 35 years of marriage thought it best to keep out of the long haired generals way and retreat to the garage. Put her fitted wardrobes back a bit on the long list of jobs.
Anyways needed some new spot light brackets as fitting a touratwat fairing and came up with this. Any body else been farkling ?

Yes..... built another log store for £0 using a couple of old pallets, some surplus OSB, and a couple of large apple crates. My wife now just has to treat it with black creosote.
Various other projects to follow, mostly involving wood, type 1, blocks & corrugated sheet. And, motorbike-wise, recommissioning my 10 yr unused DRZ400.

Dog proofed the pond, made some gates, trimmed some trees - I'm going to need B&Q and Skrewfix open soon, supplies are running out.
Had a go at wood carving yesterday with a bit of one of the trees I'd trimmed, a fun couple of hours - Easter Island style head not a self portrait, not sanded it down yet - waiting for the wood to dry out a bit
