I use the E-07+ on my 1200GS and find them good on tarmac {wet or dry } and good offroad, I used that bike for the AS Keilder 500 last year and was pleased with the tyre performance and would buy them again.

Got the E07 on the rear of the GS at the moment, does a good job on and off the Gelände! Seem to be lasting as well so far.

Motoz getting amazing reviews. They are a bit more expensive than the rest but if I was going on a trip with a lot of off road I’d give them a go.

Well, in the end I went for Mitas E07 front and E07+ rear. Interestingly, the E07 front appears to have a very similar pattern tread to the Mefo Explorer, but fits the other way around.
There's still a few miles to be done on the old tyres, but I'll give comparative feedback on the news in due course.
Thanks to everyone for all the advice and input.

Thanks.

Not fitted the tyres yet...life's a bit 'home-based' at the moment.

But a new office to paint, polytunnel coming for the garden, dogs to walk and my two main work outlets are going to keep publishing through the crisis, so I'm luckier than most.
