I bought this about 5 years ago and always regretted not getting one with rear suspension , I ve done 400 miles on it since the lockdown and for the sake of my aged bones have ordered a Specialised Levo Comp , Bike shops have apparently been busier than they ever have been over the last few weeks.

I’ve had this a while and will admit to not using much, but being stuck at home and needing the exercise I’ve been using it every day. Living on a farm I’ve been riding around the fields, good fun. Went to take it out this morning and found a thorn in the flat front tyre, easily fixed though.
No rear suspension as Pint Masters, but it came with a fancy seat post that absorbs the shocks without soaking up the pedal power.

pic, a while ago, of a local trail.
There has been loads of money invested in out UK national cycle network.
EU area 1 funding .. hope it dont stop with brexit, the funding, not the source.
Look up sustrans ont interweb.
You may be surprised how extensive it is, especially in South Wales.

Although they've now changed their name The Rough Stuff Fellowship was one of the inspirations behind the formation of the TRF , rsf.org.uk , don't know their views on electrically assisted mountain bikes.

I’ve borrowed my mate’s Electric MTB because he’s in the vulnerable category and is isolating for the foreseeable. It’s a Bianchi but made under licence by Ducati 😳. I kid you not. Anyway, it’s got the Bosch Performance Line motor and a 400w battery. It’s also been de restricted with a dongle. I have to say that I’m very impressed with it 😎. It’s easy to maintain a constant 20mph with hardly any effort and 30 mph is relatively easy as well. It also climbs really well in the lowest gear and I haven’t noticed the extra weight over my standard Scott MTB but it is heavier when you pick it up, clearly. Today, I did 15 miles on it including 2 monster climbs and I used half of the battery in 2 hours but I was in Turbo mode all the time which is the full power mode. As I say, I’m very impressed with it 😊😎.
