What's the price difference between the non adjustable booster plug and the slightly adjustable kev mod.

With the first option how can you factor in option free flow filter mods and non cat exhaust when applied if applied.

I've had the kev mod box on an xtx and an xtz and from the previous owners who installed them it helped cure the mid throttle hesitation.

I had all three options on my bike.
2006
Xt 660 z.
I was annoying about the engine at slow speed in high gear. 5th.
I like to drive slow ofte and just enjoy nature and weather.
But I dont like the engine surging and shaking at 70 to 75 kmh in 5th or slower speed.
Especially if terrain raises up aso.

So I buyed boosterplug.
It gave more power at start and low rpm. I was really happy.
I buyed foam filter oiled and a otr single can.

But still samme problems at 60 to 75 Even up to 85kmh.
So needed downshift..

I ended up getting money back.

I live here in Denmark too. Were the boosterplug company is.

So I then buyed kev mod o2 controller.

About the same.

I would prefere the Boosterplug plug from thiese 2 options.

But still not satisfayed.
Then I got a power commander.

That helped a lot.
But still surging just not rough but soft. I could drive 60 to 70 kmh in 5 th. But not all places.

With power commander the fuelling raised a lot.
A least 100 km less in one tank.

My rekord was just over 600 km in one tank with boosterplug.

It helped with better Economic mileage.

With power commander and real gently driving.
Only up to msybe 480 km in one tank.
At same kind of driving.

I am almost a pro eco driver. A proffesional busdriver.

My car renault clio III dci i can rea h around 3.5 km longer every liter.
But only when I work Hard and consentrated.
Factory telt 25 kml.
I reach 28.5 kml.
That means My rekord is 1694 km in one tank.
I dont lye.

My last bike: the one i buyed after selling My tenere 660.
A honda africatwin crf DCT 1000.
Factory tells 21.5 kml.
I usually reached around 23.5 to just over 24 kml and up to 435 km on the 18.8 liter tank. Still some left.

Since two weeks i buyed super tenere 1200 from yamaha.

I am so happy with this one.
Strong. Powerfull. Economic. Drives 60 kmh in 6th gear.
Uses a bit more benzin than africa twin.
Around 21.5 to 22 kml.

The 660 tenere with boosterplug around 25 to 29 kml.
Woth power commander around 20 to 22 kml.
At same consentrated driving.

The one cylinder is a real fine bike that I miss a lot.
But the enviorment laws are guilty.
They are nothing for me anymore.
I am sorry.
But for driving outside streets its real fine and reliable.

Good luck everyone.
Maybe take boosterplug and change chain sprocket That makes engine run with more rpm at same speed.

I also found you need to get the chain tension spot on, that really helped mine between 4-5 thousand revs, stopped a lot of surging and became only noticeable on smooth tarmac or motorways.
