Post by Simon_100 »

Hi, the catch that secures the quarter light - remember them! - on my car has come off and I need an adhesive that will weld stainless to glass. Any ideas guys?

I was going to post a link to that site but you beat me to it.

We still need to glue bits to glass and normal araldite seems to work fine.

Thanks guys. I was thinking that Araldite would do.

Sticks Like Sh*t is waterproof and excellent. It will even work under water.

The advantage over Araldite is that it flexes, which you'll probably need on the Lada

I now recall using sikaflex to bond my TVR headlight to the car body.
Great stuff but absolutely evil to use.
You need a full body overall and really good gloves as it goes everywhere, however careful you are.
That sounds a joke but I'm serious.
You can get it from yacht chandlers.
