the start of another problem

Post by sexysi »

The bike has just come back from a 6000mile service and the last couple of times i have had problems with tick over. The bike starts fine and the stalls straight away. I can keep the revs up fine and it doesnt stall. Then at a set of lights it stalls. After a while the problem goes away and it doesnt do it everytime it starts. Any ideas?

That I've got to see! (thumbs)

Has the bike given any error messages yet? Low speed problems are often the lambda sensor acting up which can be caused by something as simple as filling up with cheaper fuel then normal.

News from the tiger 800 forum is that it could be a dirty stepper motor. So sprayed a load of damp start/cleaner in there and see how it goes.
