I have beam trawled the internet looking for info on matters but very little info is available. I have contacted Frankybaby to no avail, like you say He has disappeared off the scene..
I would definitely post up here on the build but it wont be for some time as I have a 3 week old spiral fracture of the right tibia/fibular to nurse back to strength. Also need to sell my DRZ to fund current matters as stat sick pay is abysmal...
I have been considering the area’s you mention regarding frame, tank rear wheel etc and idea’s and cogg’s are a whirling away so watch this space....!!!
All info put forward mind will always be greatly appreciated .

Still in rough draught mode, having known precious little about the 'K' series prior to this build I have to say the more I dig the more I like these weirdo machines..!! I'm currently delving into extended driveshaft territory and it's looking like a home brew attempt is on the cards

There is a very good K bike forum, lots of UK members too and everyone is very friendly and helpful. That large fuel tank is excellent stuff.

All sorts have been built and lots on the K 75. I suspect any technical problem or issue can be sorted there.
