Just a quiet Monday Brew
is it me or is it feeling like summer. folks sitting in beer gardens, birds cheeping and birds running also knobbly and I met up for a brew at our local bike brewing shed and just chilled and chatted. lovely day. not a proper ride report, but a good feeling about the biking year ahead.

I know what you mean, it feels very spring-like, the thermal liner is out of the jacket, and the shades are on. I can't work out where you were though, but it looks familiar.

I had the same feeling, yesterday was glorious up here in Cumbria. Unfortunately my son had a Taekwondo exam in the morning, then we were at Jessie's (Curry lady) house for dinner, didn't get in until 9pm so no biking.
Woke up this morning and it was a bit dull, I had that common Monday morning feeling so had a look on the Internet weather. It didn't take long to convince Maria that a day off was in order and we should head East.
It was freezing and foggy over Bowes moor but at Barnard Castle the sun came out so we headed for Durham, never been before.
Had a wander around the massive Cathederal and the shops, Mexican for lunch then headed cross country to Middleton-in-Teesdale for a cuppa.
We only did 130 miles ish! but were back in time for the kids coming in from school.
It was lovely, what a tonic. sorry no photos, I was busy holding hands with Maria
