nice day today, no rain. first stop Altnaharra, sometime coldest place in Britain, then on the Hope road to Durness, never saw another vehicle in over 20 miles.

How do you rate the Tenere 700,on a trip?

Whippet says its a good travel bike for this kind of trip. Fast enough to cover the ground up to Scotland. Fine for the little B roads and forest roads that you can do up here. However, in Whippets opinion its not something to take offroad on real knarly technical stuff,at 204 kgms its too heavy. good bike on firetrack. The engine is a peach, suspension is capable until you push it. Great value for money.

Cracking pictures Steve - thanks for sharing.

Love the road that runs up past Ben Hope. Not suprised you saw little or no traffic. Had to avoid sleeping red deer on the road before now

Was out that way myself today, but south of you, near Skye . . . .

Now don't go putting too many miles on my next bike now will you :D
