Pretty rare now, that was a good one
Yes I sold mine and I should have kept it. Most of them for sale at the time I bought mine came from the BMW off road school in Wales. They were sold off after a year of abuse with small but hard mileage. Mine had 1700 genuine miles.
I used it mostly for trails for 12 months and only put 600 miles on it.
I had a right ding-dong with the guy who bought it from me off eBay. Even though I’d explained in the advert where it had come from and the life it’d had. After a couple of months he’d had it serviced and the mechanic had told him “This has been clocked mate.....no way should it have this amount of wear and tear after 2500 miles”.
He threaten me with legal action and demanded I gave him his money back.....I should have taken up his offer, rather than telling him to fuck-off :D

The bastard who I bought it off Ebay basically i had to rebuild it. It had fresh mot but had bent forks only 5k miles but think it had been parked up on the beach. Many hours later and all sorted...great bikes. Sorry hijack of thread.
