GR46 in the Lot

After weeks of back to back rain the sun came out , still on a 6pm curfew i set off on the 400 at 11am to Couzou to pick up the GR46

It was still fresh so didn't stop untill Montfaucon for a brew , due to CV19 everywhere is closed so took a flask and bikkies

Not long before i was back in the dirt on the GR that was also part of the Compostella, the GR's were old roads so generally link townd , villages and mills /farms

I have France TOPO on my Montana so all the GR's are highlighted in RED but the kind people of France mark the way for us , 2 parallel lines meens straing on

This is all bollocks. He has a party of sweaty lackeys and a photographer who cart him from location to location. They wake him up, feed him some more caviar, and he makes the small effort required to order a pic or two before he is transported again by sedan to the next spot....

Reading the trail does come in handy and weirdly enough i love it , in another life i would lve to have been a tracker ..............heres a good reason to read the trail
