Monchique is a nice village.
In the mountains.
With small farms around.
It has the typical Portuguese plaza.
Mask is used
And time for another coffee on the stone bench
After the coffe it was time to head back to Albufeira.
Passing Silves.

That requieres a separate story.

Re: Costa Vicentina Portugal
Great pics, and a really nice part of the world.
So many seem to flock to the Algarve beaches, when the west coast is more attractive IMO, and far less developed. As long as you don't mind a bit of wind. I went to the lighthouse once (most westerly point in Europe I think?) and there was a weird fog all round it. The temperature dropped suddenly by about 15 degrees. Found a small café next to a big beach serving the tastiest seafood pil-pil ever. Surfers love it there.
