The morning temps were great for riding but by 10am it was getting hot and high 30°...s mid-afternoon so every opportunity we stopped for a brew.........................;;and they are few and far between

This old school had a nice cool terrance area out back

Riding on big open plateaus i was in my own zone and took no pics untill we came to an area scattered with stone sculptures
BIG ONES....................

We'd been riding for hours seeing very little in the way of civalisation , then Carcassone came into view , we only stopped for 20 mins , way to many tourists , but if you've never been its not to be missed

Staying in the shade ......37°c

Leaving the city we were straight back on dirt .......well rock

And after a tiny bit of disappointment of a tad to much road we are now 90% off

I normally carry a note pad to jot down place names but forgot it this trip so can't say where we were most of the time , but this day ended with a wildcamp with running water

As were set up camp a van turned up and pulled over to a concrete slab and wall , Steve asked if it was ok to camp and what he was doing ,he said "yes no worries and he was filling his water tank for his animals"......so Steve took a shower

The camp was just down from this lake

Simples............

So endeth day 2
