i also dislocated my shoulder just before my winter trip, does that make it frozen shoulder?
this condition isnt all bad BTW, i have hypermobility (also known as double jointed) and its super handy when fixing bikes, you know when you need to get to something that you cant reach? well i can always reach that....
the thing is, i dont have a car licence, so riding si my only way to get around, even in the winter...
im probably not the only one who doesnt have a car licence here?

update:
had the day free so did some work on the bike.
first i took the airbox off and into peices, i had enough of water getting in, so tried to find the source, no luck at all, but its summer now, so shouldnt be a problem.
next i took the exhaust off, it had 20 years of road dirt on it, after much pissing about it came off and i cleaned it up with a scraper and wire brush, put it all back together and it looks almost new
(ok not that good but better at least!)
then i decided to try and fix my broken mirror, i got the soldering iron out and managed to plastic weld it back together, should hold up for some time i think.
still waiting on tyre to arrive and need to get a brake light switch.
oh and need to find a dog sitter...

Make sure you let us know which hospital if you need some mags?
On my way 7th June (unless it's raining) as I have a 3 to 4 week trip to Norway and want a dry few days to start with. Don't mind weather once I hit Kristiansand but prefer a dry run from channel tunnel through Germany and Denmark. Will you be in Bergen or Oslo?
Hope it all goes as planned with any operation, Dave

Re: from norway to somewhere south with a wheelchair!
so finally finished the wheelchair mount today, its dead simple and solid. the wheels are mounted to a 12mm threaded bar which has a strengthening plate on the inside of the box, the little knob thing that holds them on is a valve cover nut from a scania truck from the 70s... cool right?
the green blocks are made of wood, then sealed with a plastic/fibreglass coat stuff, totally weather proof and solid wood. all held in with only one bungee, but will attach it with 2 just to be safe...
