Wuss!! ;) Might have a free day next week, possibly the Wed. (thumbs)
I'll keep it free meself and we can speak early next week? maybe see if anyone else is interested, I'll show you some of the trails around Loggerheads, Maer, Baldwins Gate and Keele, they are generally too narrow for 4x4s and most have reasonable surfaces.

cheers

It was an OK result I agree!!

Out of interest, how are the width restrictions enforced... Big rock or concrete bollards?
Concrete reinforced steel bollards and signage stating 3' 3'' width limit

Hi Andy,

looks like Twinhoe to me but I'm always coming from the other direction so I've never seen that sign.

Look quite good to me actually almost like timber stumps. I might be having a word with the local Council and offering this as a suggestion (thumbs)

This is another near me Steve, the significance of this one is that this byway was destroyed by irresponsible twats in 4x4's a couple of years ago. They even rode off the lane onto adjacent land and totally wrecked it.

These were not your guys who go out driving lanes in their Land Rovers but local scroats in stolen 4x4's and the like, I witnessed the twats winching themselves off trees etc

We are lucky in that the authorities realised that it was not responsible users that caused the damage and so put in the width restrictions, tough on the landy drivers but I don't know what else they could have done to stop it. We're lucky that they didn't put a TRO on it for all vehicles.
